Wide Blue Sound Elysium KONTAKTMore than four years after Orbit, Wide Blue Sound presents Elysium, a new synth for Kontakt 6 designed to move your sound.
The new Wide Blue Sound Elysium is a sample-based synthesizer that uses tonal and percussion instrument sounds to let you create rhythmic, moving sounds including soundscapes, pulses, evolving pads, and even hybrid instruments.
Elysium offers for this:
2 sound layers: Perc and Synth
Perc contains sounds of synths, percussions, pianos, guitars… and notably offers Morphing and Bass options
Synth takes the concept developed for Orbit and Eclipse and makes it evolve with in particular 11 types of filters, the possibility of combining 4 pads including atmospheres, synth pads or a string section and sending them to one of the 3 Pulse, Chop or Flow modes to process them
Phase sequencer that controls both sound layers over 16 steps
Adjustment of pitch, accents and “Actions” (ratchet, inversion / fade of notes, etc.) by step
Mono, glide, Force Legato and quantize functions
Keyboard split
Explorer allowing to preview the entire tonal range of a sound, to filter the collection by Mood or Instrument type, and to generate in the Generate section Perc and Synth sounds algorithmically according to your tags
Effects section with 31 treatments (pedal and amp emulations, delays, reverbs, EQ, etc.), 300 presets and over 700 impulse responses, with the ability to generate effect chains at the click of a button
Motion section offering 6 sequencers working with any synth parameter, including changing the Morph and Bass sounds of the Perc sound layer at each step; also includes a Tide module that allows you to create swells or LFOs
Over 300 presets included
3 Rhythm, Pitch and FX lock options to retain some of the patch elements while you change presets
Compatible with NKS
