Wavesfactory Le Parisien KONTAKT
ACCORDION COLLECTION FOR KONTAKT
Le Parisien is a sample library for Kontakt based on three accordions.
It’s a faithful recreation of the sound and behaviour of the real instruments.
Recorded with three mic positions and multiple round robin in a perfect studio environment. The library includes all the features you need to create beautiful and evocative accordion tracks and accompaniments easily.
Effects
The library features our advanced effect script that lets you insert any effect chain you want, including:
- High Quality EQ.
- Various types of compressors.
- Modulation: chorus, flanger, phaser.
- Distortion / Saturation / Tape
- Algorithmic and convolutional reverb with more than 40 custom impulse responses.
- Amp simulators.
This script boosts exponentially the sonic capabilities of the library, easy to use in a simple and elegant design.
Sequencer
Accordionists are able to play accompaniments using the left hand while playing melodies with the right hand. You can also do that with Le Parisien. We have included a chord recognizer that will trigger different chords directly recorded from the accordion. Le Parisien can recognize:
- Major.
- Minor.
- 7th.
- Diminished.
You can play different patterns that can be modified to you liking using the built-in sequencer. Play any of the 10 included ones or create your own.
Settings
From the settings page you can control basically any parameter you might ever need. Divided in four sections you can find:
- Round robin: we recorded 2 versions of each note, but you can get to up to 6 repetitions using the neighbour-borrowing technique.
- Dynamic range: set how much difference in volume there is between the loudest and the softest intensities.
- Velocity curve: control how the library reacts to incoming midi notes.
- Volumes: control the volume of the release samples, air effect and mechanical noises like the keyboard keys and the register switches from the accordion.
- Sample start: the volume of the notes are fully dependant on the amount of air pump. Sometimes you would like the notes to start quicker, that’s why we added this start offset that you can smooth out with the attack envelope. Or leave it to “Auto” and the instrument will control it based on the incoming MIDI velocity.
